- The Kids Q competition will have two age groups: 5 to 10 and 11 to 15.
- There will be only one category in 2010. The event will once again take place on Saturday morning this year as Friday evenings in April are often difficult for school children who cannot make it to the contest in time.
- Turn in will be at 10:30 AM, in plenty of time for parents to get back to the work of the KCBS chicken category.
- Each entered child entered in the 5 to 10 year age group will receive approximately one pound of wings. At this point, the 11 to 15 age group meat has not been decided.
- Garnish is optional and cooks choice (KCBS garnish rules do NOT apply).
- Kids Q Cook's meeting will be at 9:00 AM at the Miller Lite Pavilion.
- Kids will cook their entries at a central location at the contest rather than at the team camps.
- Turn-in location will be the community building.
- Winners for each age group will be announced during the contest awards ceremony at approximately 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 3.
- Payout will be announced at the contest cook's meeting.
- Enter by placing your kids on the main entry form and attend the meeting. We'll get all names there.
