We're glad you dropped by to learn more about our competition and we look forward to seeing you in LATE March (just the luck of the calendar rotation this year!). Our goal is to make this event one that you'll look forward to coming back to every year.		State Championship BBQ Contest! March 30-31, 2012 Cass County Fairgrounds Pleasant Hill, Missouri Please note: For 2012, we will be accepting sign ups for teams online with debit or credit card through PayPal. That system will be available on January 15. The link will be provided here when available. Additionally, through that link, we will be accepting CBJ and volunteer sign ups as well. Use of the registration links will be the only method of participating in Smokin' on Big Creek BBQ in 2012. Thanks!
Smokin' on Big Creek... the CURE for cabin fever!		Attentive volunteers for your convenience Payout is 100% of entry fees less KCBS sanctioning fees and online payment convenience fee. Unique, impressive awards through top ten in each category. Larger than normal cook sites (30' x 30') Entire area is on level ground - most sites on grass - some paved, some gravel) Free eletricity Breakfast served Saturday morning 7:00 to 8:30 AM (only $5 each) Sheltered awards and entertainment area Plenty of parking People's Choice Wing and pulled pork contest on Friday evening with proceeds to benefit Pleasant Hill Meals on Wheels & OBR. Canned / non-perishable food drive to benefit the Community Food Pantry (please bring a grocery bag with cans, dry goods, etc.) Kids Q Competition Saturday morning Dessert category!
